2023 Mercedes-Benz EQS vs EQE: A Comprehensive Comparison

The 2023 Mercedes-Benz electric vehicle lineup is poised to redefine luxury motoring. As one of the largest and fastest growing electric vehicle lineups on the market today, the Mercedes-Benz EQ lineup offers a model for every need including two very impressive sedans.

The first in the flagship, the 2023 Mercedes-Benz EQS, which was the first model introduced in the Mercedes-Benz electric vehicle lineup. The EQS is essentially the S-Class of Mercedes-Benz EVs, offering the highest level of luxury, refinement, and exclusivity. It is also the most comfortable and the quietest Mercedes-Benz electric vehicle.

The next is the 2023 Mercedes-Benz EQE which is the latest model to arrive on the market. The EQE is like the E-Class of Mercedes-Benz EVs, providing an impressive balance of comfort and space with surprising performance and agility. Let’s take a look at how each model differs.

2023 Mercedes-Benz EQS: The Flagship of Luxury

The 2023 Mercedes-Benz EQS, the flagship of Mercedes-Benz's electric sedan lineup, represents the most luxurious and refined EV the brand has to offer.

This high-end sedan delivers a near-perfect blend of performance and comfort, a feat that few electric vehicles have achieved. The stunning interior is draped in premium materials, highlighted by the 56-inch HYPERSCREEN that brings connectivity and entertainment to new heights.

Two variants are on offer - EQS 450 and EQS 580 - both delivering 547 km of range with a 107.8-kWh battery. For those craving more performance, the Mercedes-AMG EQS delivers a shorter range of 446 km but ups the power to 649 hp (751 hp with boost function) and a jaw-dropping 752 lb-ft of torque.
