Mercedes-Benz confirms pricing for the 2023 Mercedes-Benz EQE electric sedan
January 27 2023,
The 2023 Mercedes-Benz EQE sedan will arrive on the market this summer with a starting price of $85,600. Mercedes-Benz also confirmed pricing for the very powerful, remarkably efficient new 2023 Mercedes-AMG EQE 4MATIC+. That model will start at $121,500.
The new Mercedes-Benz EQE sedan is the latest electric vehicle from Mercedes-Benz. It will act as the midsize luxury electric vehicle from the German manufacturer, slotting right beneath the EQS flagship sedan which arrived on the market last year.
It will be offered in three versions, the Mercedes-Benz EQE 350 4MATIC and the Mercedes-Benz EQE 500 4MATIC. The top-of-the-line model will be the Mercedes-AMG EQE 4MATIC+. Each model will feature 4MATIC all-wheel drive. The system is enabled by two permanently excited synchronous electric motors in each version, with one motor powering each axle.
The 2023 Mercedes-Benz EQE 350 4MATIC will feature 288 hp and 564 pound-feet of torque and start at $85,600.
The 2023 EQE 500 4MATIC will deliver 402 hp and 633 pound-feet of torque with a starting price of $95,000.
The top-of-the-line 2023 Mercedes-AMG EQE 4MATIC+ will deliver an impressive 617 hp and 701 pound-feet of torque. Thanks to a launch control mode called RACE START, performance increases temporarily to 677 hp and 738 pound-feet of torque which will allow it to reach 100 km/h in just 3.3 seconds. This model starts at $121,500.
Mercedes-Benz announced previously that the EPA range should be of about 480 km for the Mercedes-Benz EQE 350 4MATIC and EQE 500 4MATIC. Both models will feature a 90.6 kWh battery. The range should be very close to the estimated numbers when the EQE goes on sale this summer.
That was certainly the case with the Mercedes-Benz EQS sedan which offers 547 km of range thanks to its 107.8 kWh battery.
The 2023 Mercedes-AMG EQE will join a growing lineup of Mercedes-Benz electric vehicles that feature the EQS, the EQS SUV, and the upcoming EQE SUV. Mercedes-Benz also introduced the new Mercedes-Benz EQB SUV at the end of 2022.
The Mercedes-Benz EQE sedan will be designed for buyers looking for a more dynamic and sporty electric vehicle experience while also enjoying exceptional comfort and refinement. The new EQE will feature the large HYPERSCREEN display with 12.3-inch driver instrument and centre displays. The new EQE will also feature the latest advanced safety technology from Mercedes-Benz and should provide a dynamic and agile experience behind the wheel that doesn't compromise on luxury and refinement.
